Chickened out...
Paula chickened out. That's right, folks...she bailed on the wax job. She bailed not because she was worried about the pain, or the expense, or the results, or me mocking her. She bailed because there were people in the shop. It was an embarrassment for her to ask for her eyebrows to be waxed in front of others. It's not like she was asking for a bikini wax!
I don't get it. We are NOT sharing a brain cell on this one. Maybe this post will prompt her to actually POST something!! She's a lurker (and a bit chicken to post anything.) That's right...I've thrown down the gauntlet. She's a chicken to blog! Bawk, bawk, bawk.

I agree - there is no unibrow happening. I was just pointing out that you have a weird sense of embarrassment - as if anyone else knowing about wayward eyebrows would somehow stigmatize you.
As for the Internet time...HELLOOO...I have a gaggle of kids too. My bandwidth - get off. I think it's just an excuse for being chicken (bawk, bawk)
Well, like I mentioned before, my mom owns a salon and when they first started the place she made sure that each stylist had their own room with a door instead of just a booth or a chair b/c there are actually tons of people that don't want other people watching them have simple procedures like that done. Ok, that was one long run-on sentence. I don't know why it's embarrassing to some, but apparently Paula isn't alone.
Chastity -
Privacy during the "procedure" is one thing. Being embarrassed to go in and ask for it is another. I still say eyebrows are a much different situation than asking for a bikini wax or even a female mustache wax.
When it comes right down to it I am trying to piss Paula off enough that she will post instead of just comment periodically. Ain't friendship grand?
After a friend told me of her experience with waxing (and I picked myself up off the floor from my laughing fit) I decided that I'd forgo waxing the few stray hairs on my body. (grin)
